We are constantly looking at ways to improve each and every holiday we offer, that's why we always value feedback. Whether it's the service from our team, that little B&B you thought was extra special, or an 'unplanned moment' when you wondered off the path and found something worth sharing.
Until 2018, Walk the Trail signed up to the independent review platform Feefo, which we used this until the end of 2021 to collect reviews. During this time, we received over 150 5 Star views and received a Trusted Service Award each year. We're now managing our reviews via Google and Trustindex.

The whole trip was a tremendous success! All the arrangements you had made were absolutely and fully satisfactory, and all the B&B's were at the very high end of the scale. We added two more days in the Charity House in Dartmouth just to relax and some sightseeing.
The SWCP is a wonder for the walking tourist. Even though the sun was endlessly pouring and with very high temperatures, there was always a nice soothing easterly breeze from the sea that made it all perfect, and not to forget the possibility of taking a dip in the ocean along the way.
We shall hopefully be back in 2015 to make a similar trip, if not before. And we'll chose your company as our travel partner also next time! I apologize for the lack of patience before the trip started. Travelling with a child increases the measure of organisation and planning -and thus the level of anxiousness. But Liv, 14 turned out to be a fabulous walker with a strong will - a boost for her confidence!

Just returned from my West Cornwall walk and would just like to say a big thankyou for sorting out my accommodation and luggage transfers. All the arrangements worked out fine which left me free to concentrate on the walking. Saw some amazing coastal scenery and returning to my starting point in St Ives via the St Michael's Way was a nice contrast. I still have lots more of the SW coast path to walk and I am sure I will be back in touch with you at some point in the future.

I just wanted to thank you for a wonderful two-and-a-half weeks. All of the bed and breakfasts I stayed in were friendly, comfortable and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
Every day when I arrived my bag was there, like a faithful dog. All in all an excellent trip.
As an aside, I would also like to say that, as a female walking alone on the SWCP I had no problems at all and always felt perfectly safe.
It was an unique, fantastic and unforgettable experience with hurting feet and legs in the beginning and total fitness in the end ;-). I met interesting people and saw great landscapes. I experienced the coldest spring after over 60 years but with the right clothes - everything was under control ;-).
I`d like to make you a compliment for your organization, fast answers and friendliness! The luggage transfer worked really well. Almost all B&B were lovely and the people very friendly.

We enjoyed a super walking experience in Cornwall. The weather was good at least most of the time! In general we are very happy with the whole holiday. All the accommodations you booked for us was of a high standard, with friendly people and good service. The luggage transfers were 100%. We are all very satisfied and plan to come back in the future!

John Croskerry The mileage was under estimated over 5 days, 16 turned out to be nearly 20 | I liked thier good comm's in explaining,trans/accomd.with good details.
Unfortunately the walk was more than we expected in mileage and bad maintenance.
We have walked the SWCP and many others and appreciate good upkeep of the path.
With no comm's most of the time and the undergrowth up to our waste at times, not being able to see the path (lots of small rocks).we were lucky to get away with no major injuries..When the path was visible we had a lot of difficulty in descending because the rocks although dry were very slippery and no attempt had been made to put any steps in many areas.
We understand rain fall, but in many places it had been totally neglected over a long period of time.
We found the local people very friendly,
I am very surprised that the track is just badly maintained ( in places) and badly in need of some work.
We started at St Dogmial to St Davids.
Angela Roberts, UK Very helpful and efficient -understood my needs with helpful suggestions | I booked at last minute to walk on my own and sought advice about what was feasible in the time I could allocate- I was walking at a busy period coinciding with a local music festival but still was found good friendly accommodation and the luggage pick up worked a treat. I had a great time and encountered an interesting bunch of people en route or staying at same place but also enjoying the peace and beauty of the walks on my own. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

The accommodation in Old Sodbury was dirty. Found out later that more people had complained. WTT should use an alternative.
At the penultimate address we could not get food as the local pub had closed. WTT should know this.
WTT had forgotten to pay a taxi link to one hotel but they did fix this adequately.
My experience with other companies provided a better quality accommodation. However my experience with them,WTT, on the south west coast path was better.

Lise Badsvik All of the material arrived in good time before our trip so that we could prepare. We also received very informative additional information by email before our trip, though we would have liked to have been especially notified of the very long diversions on this section of the trail, which made some of our walking days extremely long. Also we would have liked to be especially notified that the ferry to Halford Passage stopped running at 5 p.m. We were too late and had to take a 40-minute long taxi ride to our accommodation on the other side of the river.

Martin Johnson Helpful, friendly and efficient. Feel like one of the family! | We are halfway through completing the SWCP. We have done four separate weeks with WtT and will continue to do so until we reach the end.
They always treat us like friends, always happy to cater to our needs and always give prompt responses.
The information packs they provide for the trips cover all essential needs; itinerary, directions/details of accommodation, maps including GPX files (Komoot), etc. Although the mileages can be a little understated, I wouldn't put the blame on WtT as many walkers we've met have said the same. The accommodation they provide is good and some are excellent. We have never had any problems with the transfers of our luggage, always there waiting for us and never any damage.
We are thoroughly enjoying the experience and very grateful to WtT for taking all the hassle out of the organising. There have been a couple of tiny hick-ups but nothing to stop us continuing with this great little company.

A couple of minor things:
1. A later taxi pick up at Crackington Haven would be a good idea. To get there for 4.00 was very tight and meant that there was no time to stop on the day's walk (e.g. At Boscastle which would have been interesting)
2. There was a mix up with entry at Sleep Squires (Braunton) . I was sent "old" key entry codes
3. The final map Lynmouth to Porlock was missing

Katy Elwyn Poor walking descriptions | The B&Bs and luggage transport were all very well done. One B&B was out of town requiring a dangerous road walk back from dinner.
The walking information was much less helpful. We were given the basic information but no additional local details, obviously the info hadn’t been updated in quite a while. For instance, the trail which had been very well marked until then, disappeared just above Luton due to local trail conditions and it was difficult to find the way down. Again at the end of the trail in Lyme Regis there was a very long road walk again due to local trail conditions. These trail diversions had been there for well over a year and would have been easy to deal with if we had prior knowledge. Obviously the organizers didn’t keep up to date as they should have. Not recommended to book with them.

This trip was arranged when the country was in Covid travel restrictions, with the vast majority of people wanting to holiday in the UK and increasing cost of accommodation. The bill from WtT was in line with previous trips and with the same high standard of B&B and Hotels. They are worth every penny taking all the stress out of organising our trips through their expertise in knitting everything together. As always everything ran smoothly, as mapped out in the detailed itinerary; accommodation, transfer of luggage and taxis. They even assisted in our travel from home to the holiday as travelling between Teignmouth and Weymouth by public transport was a particular problem in getting back to our car.
Having dealt with the Company for several years now we have built up a friendly relationship and always enjoy the comical banter from Linda. We can't thank them enough for what they do, they make it so easy so we can just enjoy the walking.

Roger McLeod Overall the holiday went well, Goodwick overnight stay proved a disappointment, as breakfast was not scheduled until 9am, very late for most walkers, particularly as the day's walk was 16 miles.. We explained our position and were told that we could have a un cooked breakfast at 8 am, we left at 8.15 am, no staff had appeared anywhere in the hotel. At our own added expense we went to Tesco and purchased a picnic breakfast

This adventure would have gotten 5 stars if there had been better directions to the B&B's. They are difficult to find in St. Just, Zennor and St. Ives. The maps the company provides are not specific and it is rare and/or difficult to find street and road signs. After hiking the distance, we still spent almost an hour trying to locate our B&B's. It's a good thing people in the area are so helpful. One B&B told us that this company is the only company who's clients have difficulty finding them. I would suggest that Walk the Trail consider providing better directions for weary hikers at the end of their day. I will say that being lost and wandering around looking for our beds was just as interesting and adventurous as the hike.

Martin Johnson Walk the Trail do the hard bit, all we have to do is walk and enjoy! | This booking covered the last section of the South West Costal Path and was far from straight forward. We had the Firing Ranges which are only open for walkers at certain times of the week, the mileage we needed to cover on the path would not have taken us a full week and, to some extent, involved consideration in planning the penultimate leg. It was a case of planning the two sections in tandem. With the expert help of Walk the Trail and a few suggestions from us, we arrived at a perfect arrangement. As a final treat, Walk the Trail have said they 'want to make sure we get you somewhere rather amazing for you to celebrate the completion of the Path'. This won't be the end of our association with WtT as we intend to do it all again. It's a beautiful well signposted path, ever changing scenery and landscape. With well over 600 miles it's not something one could ever get bored with!
