The daily mileages of this itinerary are less than standard giving you a great chance to explore the villages you come across, stop and take photographs or just spend time sitting on beaches or cliffs. Worth Matravers to Lulworth

Lulworth to Weymouth
Distance: 11 miles Difficulty: Moderate/Strenuous
Day 4:
Weymouth to Abbotsbury
Distance: 14 miles Difficulty: Easy/Moderate
- Day 5:
Abbotsbury to Seatown
Distance: 12.5 miles Difficulty: Moderate

Due to a lack of accommodation in Seatown, it may be necessary to accommodate you 1 mile inland in Chideock.

Day 6:
Seatown to Lyme Regis
Distance: 7 miles Difficulty: Moderate
Day 7:
Lyme Regis to Beer
Distance: 8.5 miles Difficulty: Moderate
Day 8:
Beer to Sidmouth
Distance: 8.5 miles Difficulty: Strenuous
- Day 9:
Sidmouth to Budleigh Salterton
Distance: 7 miles Difficulty: Moderate/Strenuous

Budleigh Salterton to Dawlish

Dawlish to Babbacombe

Two ferry journeys required. One from Shaldon to Teignmouth and one from Starcross to Exmouth.

Babbacombe to Paignton
Distance: 7.5 miles Difficulty: Moderate

Day 13:
Paignton to Brixham
Distance: 5.5 miles Difficulty: Moderate
- Day 14:
Brixham to Dartmouth
Distance: 11.5 miles Difficulty: Moderate/Easy

Ferry crossing from Dartmouth to Kingswear.

Dartmouth to Strete
Distance: 7 miles Difficulty: Strenuous

Strete to Hallsands

Hallsands to Salcombe

Crossing Kingsbridge Estuary by ferry.

Day 18:
Salcombe to Hope Cove
Distance: 8 miles Difficulty: Strenuous

Hope Cove to Bigbury on Sea
Distance: 5 miles Difficulty: Easy/Moderate

Cross the River Avon by short ferry journey.
Due to a lack of accommodation in Bigbury on Sea, it may be necessary to accommodate you elsewhere and include transfers to and from the accommodation.

- Day 20:
Bigbury on Sea to Wembury
Distance: 15.5 miles Difficulty: Moderate

Cross the River Erme which is tide dependent.
Due to a lack of accommodation in Wembury, it may be necessary to accommodate you elsewhere and include transfers to and from the accommodation.

- Day 21:
Wembury to Plymouth (Barbican)
Distance: 11 miles Difficulty: Easy/Moderate

Cross the River Yealm by short ferry journey.

- Day 22:
Plymouth (Barbican) to Kingsand/Cawsand
Distance: 6 miles Difficulty: Moderate/Easy

A ferry is required between Cremyl and Plymouth.
Due to a lack of accommodation in Kingsand/Cawsand, it may be necessary to accommodate you elsewhere and include transfers to and from the accommodation.

Day 23:
Kingsand/Cawsand to Crafthole
Distance: 9 miles Difficulty: Moderate
Day 24:
Crafthole to Looe
Distance: 8.5 miles Difficulty: Moderate
 

What's Included

  • Accommodation for the length of your holiday including the night before you start walking and the evening after your final day's walking in good quality B&Bs, Inns and small hotels. This will be en-suite wherever possible.
  • Breakfast - This may be a full cooked or continental option depending on accommodation. Evening meals can be arranged with certain accommodations for an additional charge.
  • A Personalised Holiday Pack containing maps and addresses for accommodations, pick up points and daily mileage information.
  • If you are crossing a river using a ferry or on foot at low tide then we will provide you with the relevant information to assist.
  • Luggage transfers between each accommodation. 1 bag per person up to 20 kilograms. Additional bags can be added upon request.
  • Phone line support between the hours of 0900-1900, 7 days a week for the length of your holiday.
  • If required, path to accommodation or round river transfers (free of charge)
